Before:
A three-color publication with a dated look and drab color palette (left, top).
After:
NICHEPUBS provided a redesign in full-color. This included developing icons for various departments, updating the typeface used, and creating more reader-friendly style guidelines (left, bottom).
Results:
For a little extra in printing expense, the full-color redesign provided the best "bang for the buck." For example, photos of people, company logos, and product shots would no longer need to be rendered in black & white. Also, using full color enabled the publication to have a greater consistency with the look and feel of the organization's website.
Overall, implementing the extra color provided a greater consistency of marketing communications, the start of a repositioning campaign, and some very cost-effective promotion.
